USA v. R.
Client was charged in Federal Court (SDNY) with wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. He was facing 4 years in prison. The government argued to the court for a “substantial term of imprisonment”, while Mr. Greco argued to the Court that a sentence of time-served (1 day in jail) was appropriate. The Judge agreed with Mr. Greco and sentenced the client to “time-served”, which was the 1-day he was in custody when he was arrested.
